Opiates and opiate addiction (which covers both heroin addiction and narcotic painkiller addiction) are issues we can help you address, and a large part of the treatment we provide for opiod addiction centers around the medication Suboxone along with Ondansetron. Substance abuse counseling, and specifically cognitive behavioral therapy, plays a significant role in alcohol rehab and drug rehabilitation here as well. If a person has already detoxed from opiates, then Naltexone or preferably Vivitrol (r) is used, again along with Ondansetron. Assisted Recovery Centers is not anti AA in any way.
